Immersing in the charming village ambiance, my stay in Engelberg was a delightful blend of tradition and modernity. The interior's mix of iron cushioned seats and small tables by the large windows portrayed a harmonious fusion. Dining in the winter garden offered a scenic treat akin to my favorite breakfast spot with equally breathtaking views. Engulfed in the Benedictine monastery's aura, the village exuded history and natural beauty. The accommodating staff, particularly the two receptionists and restaurant team, were instrumental in enhancing my experience. The ample parking spaces and the convenience of bus transport were practicalities that added to the stay's ease. Engelberg encapsulates a perfect Alpine retreat for those seeking a touch of history amidst modern comforts.
